Community Safety

We are committed to tackling Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and supporting victims and witnesses. We know that ASB can affect a person's quality of life and is often targeted at the most vulnerable people in our community.
The East Lincolnshire Community Safety Partnership (ELCSP) works to create local solutions to local problems to tackle issues of crime and disorder and improve the quality of life for people living, working or visiting the area.
The Community Trigger enables victims of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) to request agencies to carry out a review of their response to the ASB they reported where they feel they did not get a satisfactory response, if the request meets set criteria.
We work in partnership with Lincolnshire Police and local Town Councils to provide CCTV coverage throughout the area to make our district a safer place in which to live, work and visit.
Any incident, which may or may not constitute a criminal offence, which is perceived by the victim or any other person as being motivated by prejudice or hate is a hate crime or hate incident.
The Counter Terrorism strategy involves many organisations, including the Police, emergency services, local authorities, businesses, voluntary and community organisations and other partners - working together across the UK to protect the public.
The Lincolnshire Police and Crime Panel scrutinises the actions and decisions of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Lincolnshire.
